This Thanksgiving, you’re invited to our house. Rediscover the welcome of an American family’s table—or experience it for the first time. The Texan is inviting Terceira in.

About the event

For years, American families connected to Lajes welcomed friends from Terceira into their homes for Thanksgiving. Being invited meant sharing more than a meal. It meant being welcomed into a family tradition. Perhaps you remember your first invitation. Perhaps you have only seen Thanksgiving in films or heard the stories. This year, The Texan is opening its doors to the island. Come feel that welcome again. Or come discover it for the first time. There’s a place for you at our table.

Dinner

American turkey with green bean casserole, creamy mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and fruit cocktail salad. Fresh butter rolls arrive at the table. Then comes a slice of homemade American apple or pumpkin pie, made especially for Thanksgiving.
